I realize we are talking about one specific number here. However, I recently became unemployed and like anyone else, I signed up for multiple job boards. That is when I began getting flooded with unsolicited phone calls. Mostly from colleges, for match-ups. I also know these job boards have to make money somehow in order for it to be a free service, but there must be a limit to it. My suggestion is to purchase a cheap prepaid cell phone to use for this purpose only. After you have landed a job, donate the phone to a womens crisis center, or other non-profit purposes. And many companies recycle the phones to redistribute to the elderly, handicapped, and etc.
